Last night, the Maryland Freedom Caucus watched the results roll in for our four endorsed candidates with great confidence. Despite attacks from their own opponents and a DC-affiliated dark money PAC, we were proud to see that the most conservative candidates prevailed. While the results are not official until the mail-in votes are canvassed in the next two weeks, we believe that when the results are finalized, we will be celebrating four victories of the inaugural Maryland Freedom Caucus Slate.
These wins are the first wave of a New Conservative Movement that the Maryland Freedom Caucus is bringing to Maryland. We are laser-focused on strengthening Republican seats in the House of Delegates, so that voters can trust their representatives are fighting for them in Annapolis with integrity. The Freedom Caucus voice is powerful here in Maryland and in the 14 other states of the State Freedom Caucus Network, where elected officials are winning by being unabashedly conservative.
