HAVE YOU HEARD? The Southern Poverty Law Center influence on Maryland Public Schools is undeniable. In 2024, the Maryland Democrats passed HB 1386 with bipartisan support to mandate racist anti-bias training on our public school employees. They doubled down in 2025 to mandate this same kind of training on elected school board members with SB 293. Maryland Freedom Caucus Member, Delegate Lauren Arikan, explains:
